Oh, do you think these people he saved in the last story arc will also betray him for treasure? He already agreed to give their mother a drop of Water of Life to save her. He didn’t actually say he has the tree of life just a little bit of water left so I doubt that would endanger him. This could also be a good opportunity to make allies since the Martial God Hall or whatever is out to get him, with strong allies while he builds himself he can more or less survive.
